Job Description
Looking for a position that comes with an ownership stake? Employee-owned System Scale is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician based out of the North Little Rock, AR area. This position is responsible for the knowledge of all aspects of our measuring department including calibrating equipment and quality procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calibrate measurement and test equipment in one or more of the following disciplines: Dimensional, Mass, Mechanical, Optical, Temperature, and Electronics.
- Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
- Perform basic maintenance of precision equipment.
- Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration.
- Identify and correct measurement errors as applicable.
- Collaborate with other technicians, customer service reps, sales reps, and customers.
- Manage inbound and outbound communications as required for job: email, voicemail, customer calls, conference calls.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel requirement: up to 50% of work schedule.

Education and Experience:
Required: Associates degree from college or technical school; or six+ (6+) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
- Six+ (6+) years of commercial calibration experience
- CCT or CMT certification
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Experience in PMEL, PME, TMDE, Metrology, Calibration, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GPETE, Electronics, GCAMS, or Avionics
