The Gabr lab at the Molecular Imaging Innovations Institute (MI3) in the Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine, is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral associates. The candidate will have the opportunity to train in a stimulating and multi-disciplinary environment employing chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, and state-of-art preclinical/clinical imaging techniques aiming to develop small molecules that can monitor and/or modulate the immune response to diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tools that would enable the identification of small molecule immunomodulators.
- The candidate will be expected to contribute to manuscript preparation and submission of proposals for funding.
Qualifications include:
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline such as chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or an applicable related field. Candidates with hand-on experiences in assay development, screening small molecules, synthetic medicinal chemistry and animal models are strongly encouraged to apply.
