COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Overview
- Starting Salary at $55,000 - $70,000

Our Superintendents oversee the on-site operations of contracted construction projects. They do this by ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe work environment, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely project completion within budget and scope.
Key Responsibilities
Site Safety Management
- Lead regular safety meetings and Tool Box Talks to discuss site-specific safety concerns, ensuring all team members are informed and vigilant.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to identify potential safety hazards, document measures for mitigation, and implement those mitigation strategies.
Daily Reporting
- Utilize Procore Software for real-time project management and updates. For projects not in Procore, compile comprehensive daily email reports detailing site activities, incidents, and progress.
- Daily updates must include project numbers, comprehensive narratives of site activities, incident reports, client discussions, and material deliveries.
- Photo Documentation: Include project photos in reports to provide visual progress updates and support future project references and bids.
- Ensure proper documentation and organization of site photos and reports for easy access and reference.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with team members, trade partners, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Site Expectations
- Ensure all project sites comply with safety standards and company policies. Address any safety concerns immediately and effectively.
- Document and communicate project progress daily, highlighting any incidents or changes in project scope.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
Certifications
OSHA 30 certification required within six months of employment.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in construction project management or a similar role. Demonstrated experience in site safety management and project coordination.
