RESPONSIBILITES:
- Follow up with medications e-scribed to pharmacy daily.
- Notify patients of their co-pays.
- Obtain prior authorizations, if needed.
- Pick up medications from the pharmacy, if needed.
- Stock medication inventory.
- Notify providers when medications need reordered.
- Destroy non-narcotic medications per protocol.
- Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the RN scope of practice in carrying out care plan objectives and goals.
- Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Prefer one year of nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current RN license as required by state.
- First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
