Responsibilities:
- Manage, perform, and document all on-site installation, start-up, operator training, repair, calibration, preventive maintenance, inspection, and test tasks in a timely and detailed manner
- Diagnose alarms, errors or technical/mechanical problems and implement proper solutions
- Update drawings and documentation to reflect the equipment in service at customer sites
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, project teams and others
- Prioritize and plan work activities to make the most efficient use of allotted time
- Produce timely and accurate expense reports
- Comprehend, practice, and follow company directives and customer requirements
- Provide superior service and customer support
- Represent CiSCO in a constructive way to continue or help build positive customer relationships
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline
- Three (3) years of experience as a field engineer or field service technician
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical and mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, project plans and specifications
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a keen attention to details and accuracy
- Aptitude to work independently under minimal or no supervision
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% - 75% of the time* to mainly US locations
- Ability to adapt to changes in work schedule and alter travel plans accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Pursue training and development opportunities and strive to build knowledge and skills continuously
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record, a valid US Passport is a plus
- Must be authorized to work for any US employer, without company sponsorship, both now and in the future
*This position travels frequently, mainly by air, to various locations throughout the contiguous US. Most trips are scheduled during the normal workweek, Monday – Friday. Typically, Monday and Friday are reserved for traveling to and from the site, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the days the onsite work is scheduled for.

- The pay range for this position is $62,400 - $83,200 per year (actual wage offered may be lower or higher due to factors such as knowledge, experience, skill set, etc.)
