Carpenter/Framer/Laborer

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to understand project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications.
- Construct and assemble structural frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, using hand and power tools.
- Install windows, doors, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures according to building codes and safety standards.
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures as needed.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Uphold company values and professionalism while representing the organization on job sites and interacting with clients and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Framer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques, including framing, installing fixtures, and finishing work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in carpentry and construction.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry is preferred.
- Certification or licensure as a Carpenter may be required depending on state or local regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
