All Dawgs is seeking a reliable, experienced dog trainer.
Our assistant dog trainers' responsibilities include:
- Assist with running group dog-training classes Monday through Thursday evenings, 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM with occasional weekend hours
- Assist with occasional company events
- Help set-up equipment for classroom preparation
- Help prepare store items and appropriate paperwork
- Client education and promotion of store items, merchandise, fundraisers and other services
The successful candidate with have the following attributes:
- At least six months of personal and/or professional dog training experience. If your experience is not listed on your resume, please include it in your cover letter. Applications will not be considered without this experience.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate dog training commands to clients
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Have a smartphone with the ability to download relevant applications for business use
- Must be 18 years old
Hours for this position are from 6:30 PM to 10 PM two to four times per week Monday through Thursday at our 5,500 SF facility in Albany. Saturday morning hours will be in the Capital District in various locations. The position is approximately 8-12 hours each week.
