Regional Land Acquisition Specialist
The Regional Land Acquisition Specialist is a vital position and contributor to the WCR (Western North Carolina) region and the company overall. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of the WCR region. This position is to help our retail team source, vet, and acquire land for development and sale and to monitor and track construction of new homes on land and meet MLS requirements. To accomplish this, the Regional Land Acquisition Specialist will fulfill the responsibilities below.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support Home Centers in acquiring land for Move-in-Ready Homes
- Educate the Home Center teams on the Land Acquisition process
- Build relationships with realtors, landowners, and investors to source properties
- Submit land spec log and working properties to RVP and the Zone Land Director weekly
- List properties on MLS as needed
- Support Home Centers in developing, listing, marketing, and completing Move-in- Ready homes
- Responsible for building construction proformas and submitting to RVP and ZLD for approval
- Responsible for tracking construction, home costs, construction options, listings, days on market, list price, and sold price of each asset
- Report results of tracking to RVP and the ZLD
When You’ll Be Doing It:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturday calls or emails

- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes with ease
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong customer service skills
- Collaborate self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to learn and comply with the legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes and obtain appropriate sales licensing, if necessary
