Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Overview:
Concord Professional Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and technical support to the Chief Administrative Officer and various working groups of CBO managers and employees. The anticipated tasks that the Contractor shall support include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assisting in the planning, developing, facilitating, coordinating, and implementing of special projects—plans should define operational needs, project milestones, stakeholders, dependencies, risk/mitigation strategies, and project metrics.
- Review and document standard operating procedures and prepare instructions and user guides by capturing best practices and facilitating, coordinating, and prioritizing project development for the CAO—includes the agency’s parking program.
- Assist working groups with the identification and integration of key issues affecting MBIS and CBO.
- Support the CAO and other CBO leaders in the development and maintenance of agency data and presentationvia SharePoint.
- Evaluate key business operations/methods, and research and determine corrective actions or interpretation of organizational issues and challenges that will increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide administrative and clerical support in CBO budget and finance matters to include planning, programming, and execution, and review and analysis of CBO’s spend plan and other budget and accounting related data.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Business, Bachelor Preferred.
- Background in Project Management and/or Strategic Planning.
- Expert knowledge in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of federal government practices and budget.
- Must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in administrative roles or similar positions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: $38.79 - $43.36 per hour
