Job Title: Final Process Inspection Specialist

Summary: Inspects and packages finished product
Key Customers
? FPI staff report to the production manager
? Other production departments by reviewing and providing feedback on completed items.
? End customers by ensuring product meets expectations and is packaged according to instruction.
? Warehouse department by communicating piece count and job detail information to allow efficient shipping of product
? Sales department by notifying completion of job where final approval is requested or communicating corrective action options where deviations occur
? End customers by ensuring product meets expectations and securing photos for archiving process
Key Accountabilities
Make accurate measurements of various product lines

Know viewing distance guidelines for product QC

Ability to convert measurements for accurate final inspection

Working knowledge of Picture App for archiving finished product info

Complete inspection and packaging tasks as assigned.

Meet timing standards and sales/engineering expectations of the product

Work with team and train as necessary on jobs in the department

Remaining flexible to meet the changing demands and deadlines encompassing the entire schedule

Keeping an orderly, clean, and safe workspace to contribute to overall success of the department

Ability to share knowledge throughout department regardless of experience level

Read and understand production schedule, work orders (Travelers), drawings and written instructions

Work with sewing and lead team to meet deadlines and assignments in a timely and productive manner while maintaining high standards for quality.

Perform quality control steps on jobs under ten pieces

Ensure image placement is appropriate for desired frame

Monitoring consistent standards on choices within the configurator (e.g. 1/2” hem = ½”)

Archive photos and data associated with jobs

Match customer supplied sample to end product

Education and/or Experience: High school or equivalent; Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or fellow team members.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to read a measuring tape

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to multitask and be a problem solver.

Other Qualifications: Must have basic computing skills. Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
