Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to oncology patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an Oncology setting
- Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in an Oncology setting preferred
- Knowledge of Botulinum toxin treatment, sterile processing, catheter care, and anatomy
- Ability to triage patients effectively
- Experience with aliment and ambulatory surgery center procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
