This position pays $102,500.00 Annually - This is a remote opportunity
The HSE Specialist facilitates and supports the Health, Safety and Environmental activities.
Facilitates and supports Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities at the plant; Actively support and recommend improvements to plant HSE standards, policies, procedures, and programs;
Lead the improvement efforts for plant Emergency Response; Participate in incident investigations of all types;
Participate and facilitate Essentials Audits; Provide HSE support and expertise as needed for plant training; Maintain employee interest, involvement and support in all aspects of North American site HSE programs; Other responsibilities as defined by the HSE Manager;
Able to read and interpret HSE standards and regulations; Review plant HSE procedures; Participate in HSE formal incident investigations; Participation in risk assessment audits (JSA, etc.) as applicable;
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written forms; Must be able to utilize computer systems; Must have an understanding of basic chemistry; Ability to speak in front of a group; Must have a basic understanding of EPA, State EPA, OSHA and NIOSH standards
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required, College Degree in Business preferred.
3+ years of HSE Experience
SAP Experience
Strong attention to Detail and Organization Interpersonal Skills - employees and visitors Office environment primary; some time spend in the manufacturing plant.
Administrative Skills such as report writing, scheduling, filing, documentation systems 3+ years of HSE Experience Microsoft Office -
