The Security Operations Scheduler reports directly to the Scheduling Manager and Director of Administration/HR Manager. His/her primary responsibilities are to schedule Security Officers for Shows and to communicate with Administration/HR Manager, Scheduling Manager and Field Managers, daily to ensure all scheduled “Blocks” are assigned and confirmed with the appropriate Security Officer for the post.
Responsibilities

The position assumes responsibility for scheduling staff assignments and assignment confirmations of the Security Officers assigned to all shows and hard sites contracted to the company and is supported by the Scheduling Manager.

Ensure Security Officers are assigned correctly based upon criteria established by the Scheduling Manager.

Proactively identify and correct quality control issues related to scheduling.

Proactively identify “Open Block” assignments and resolve with appropriate assignment confirmations.

Process and document attendance infraction in coordination with Human Resources.

Effectively manage overtime by communicating staffing needs to Field Managers and Human Resources and making appropriate scheduling adjustments.

Ensure immediate response to call outs and open posts by adjusting schedules of qualified Security Officers, coordinating with Field Management.

Maintain knowledge and implement Scheduling Software updates into daily scheduling

Speak with Security Officers over the phone to schedule, remind and follow up on “Yes Confirmed” shifts

Emails reminders to Security Officers for every “Yes Confirmed” shift including CP, Parking and Map details for each show location

Add, cancel, or make changes to block assignments daily on active schedules

Perform employee intake, including the completion of assisting employees with downloading the Workschedule App

Schedule appropriate Security Officer coverage to ensure the company's best standards

Distribute electronic “Open Block” reports for each show as needed to communicate with Owners, Field Managers, Scheduling Manager and Human Resources to ensure “Open Blocks” are filled when possible

Provides back-up Receptionist duties when needed

Qualifications

Knowledge of Event Security

Responsible, efficient, be able to multitask and work under pressure

Experience with scheduling computer systems is required, including web-based applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications and Work schedule.

Must be able to prioritize work tasks, multitask activities, shift priorities as needed and be able to respond to multiple demands and adhere to time frames and due dates.

Must be detail oriented and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
Pay Type: Full-time Hourly, Non-Exempt
