We are currently seeking a Clinical Operations Professional (Behavioral Health Services) to join our Corporate Clinical team. This position is fully remote. Travel is required for this role.
The Clinical Operations Specialist reports directly to the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services and collaborates with the entire Clinical Operations department in ensuring that Company behavioral health programs are clinically sound, consistent with community standards, and contractually compliant. Provides continuous expert consultation, guidance, problem solving, and resolutions for field operations. Supports implementation and ongoing accreditation readiness for new and existing correctional healthcare contracts. Provides systemic consultation as requested. Models leadership for program leaders. Development of clinical infrastructure, including policies and procedures, clinical guidelines, staff training, patient education, and group curriculum.

Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field from an accredited institution

Active state license in psychology, multi-state licensure preferred. Must be willing to obtain licensure in states where Company holds contracts

Minimum of five years’ clinical experience in a correctional behavioral health services environment

Must have knowledge and experience providing services to patients with mental illness within each area of a correctional facility (e.g., intake, mental health evaluations, groups, individual, rounds, restrictive housing, mental health units) and be able to train staff how to effectively (according to contract, standards, and best-practice), provide these services

Strong background in Policy and Procedure review, revision, and implementation

In-depth understanding of correctional systems, contract compliance indicators, and quality correctional behavioral healthcare

Ability to interact well with varied levels of managerial, clinical, and administrative staff in correctional and environments

Must be able to work independently, without direct onsite supervision, and set and meet deadlines

Demonstrated experience managing projects independently, from inception to completion

Exceptional attention to detail required

CCHP required, CCHP-MH preferred

Active in-person CPR certification required

Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
