Job Description: -
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform welding duties using wire welding, GMAW (Gas Metal Ark Welding) or GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) according to blueprints.
- Adjust weld parameter as needed to accomodate varying thicknesses of steel and stainless steel.
- Operate and/or use related equipment and tools which include forklifts, hoists, grinders (portable and bench), cutting torches, hand tools, drills, punches, a tape measure, and welding equipment.
- Accurately measure, and layout locations for welded components.
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, follow daily startup and basic maintenance list, and inform lead/supervisor of any issues or malfunctions.
- Travel to customer location and refurbish/fabricate and or weld on equipment.
- Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, work instructions, and procedures.
Requirements: -
- Welder/fabricators must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other engineering documents.
- Knowledge of metric system.
- Willingness to travel for weeks (June through September).
- Work in a small team
- Must successfully complete in-house welding test.
- Fabricating experience in heavy machinery is preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, but most work areas have overhead crane access.
- Maintain level of work performance in accordance with company standards and or job order specifications.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
