Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is looking for experienced Call Center Representatives willing to learn a variety of things as our practice believes that cross-training gives opportunities for our staff to thrive in our environment in a full-time position.
Specifications
· Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times with patients, caregivers, and staff.
· Speak clearly and professionally on the telephone and face to face patient encounters.
· Maintain high-level attendance patterns to ensure the department is accurately covered at all times.
· Work as a team player and be willing to assist co-workers in other duties within his/her capabilities.
· Improve call center performance flow by working effectively and efficiently.
· Maintain open communication with other staff.
· Meet other performance expectations as conveyed by supervisor(s).
Phone Operator Duties/Roles
· Answer incoming telephone calls
· Screen telephone calls to ensure routing to the appropriate department or individual.
· Assist with appointment cancellation and reschedule.
· Ensure complete and accurate data entry during the telephone patient registration process.
· Provide general information about Advanced Orthopedics e.g. directions, the scope of services.
· Forward patient concerns and feedback to appropriate personnel within Advanced Orthopedics for resolution and optimization of office efficiency.
· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proficient in data entry with high accuracy
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain phone etiquette and professionalism
- Multilingual abilities preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is beneficial
- Strong analytical skills to handle complex situations
