Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate a POS system and cash register to process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Proficient in operating a POS system and cash register for accurate transactions
- Excellent math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Exceptional hospitality skills with the ability to provide a positive customer experience
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink proportions
- Experience in catering or working in a restaurant environment is a plus
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of beer is an advantage
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing drinks and managing profit margins
