Crêpe Bar, located in Tempe, has brought some of the best and most creative, fast-casual, from scratch cooking into the metro area for over a decade. We’ve developed an entire breakfast and lunch menu devoted to crêpes using seasonal and high quality ingredients. POSITION SUMMARY
A genuine positive attitude is required at all times. 1-2 years of barista or bartending experience is beneficial but not necessary. If you have a passion for hospitality, have more than 2 years of customer service and/or leadership experience, you're self motivated, organized, and have a good attitude then don't hesitate applying.
To be successful as a Crêpe Bar Barista you must be able to have a genuine positve attitude while welcoming guests, and making drinks with accuracy and speed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- You have strong social skills and like people
- Presents a positive attitude towards the job, team, and guests
- Ensure that all drinks are prepared in a timely manner according to CB's recipes
- Keep the coffee bar and dining area clean, stocked, organized and decorate display areas
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Perform portion control and minimize waste
- Operate a cash register and receive payments, while following all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Maintaining complete knowledge of restaurant’s food and beverage preparation
- Showing up for the scheduled shift in a neat and clean uniform; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
- Have a team player mentality who will "lend a hand" where needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- You have the ability to keep good vibes in a fast pace and exciting environment
- You are able to work independently, with minimal supervision
- You like to learn new things and are able to pick up new skills quickly
- You thrive working with others to help create a positive experience
- Excellent communication skills
