Job Description
As a Business Development Manager with Benning Construction Company, you will play a crucial role in driving growth, expanding our client base, and fostering strategic partnerships. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring the company’s continued success.

Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Analyze market data to develop targeted strategies for business growth.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify potential clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
- Develop a robust pipeline of prospects and maintain accurate records.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Understand client needs, pain points, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
Proposal Development and Presentations:
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for potential projects.
- Clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and unique selling points.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and collaborate with industry partners.
- Explore joint ventures and strategic alliances to expand market reach.
Networking and Industry Events:
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Represent the company and build a strong professional network.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Work closely with the executive team to set revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record in business development within the commercial construction industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and industry regulations.
Salary:
Salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience, not inclusive of bonus.
