Job Requirements
- Excellent people skills and a positive attitude
- Responsible, dependable and trustworthy.
- Ability to learn and use technology for managing orders and payment.
- Ability to learn and articulate available menu and drink options.
- Able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of region, attractions and outdoor activities (preferred).
- Ability to lift, stand and hustle for an 8-hour shift.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times.
- Welcome and seat guests.
- Introduce menu and specials, answering questions and making recommendations.
- Identify and resolve any special dietary requirements, wants and needs of guests.
- Take and serve meal and drink orders in a timely manner.
- Manage guest checks and payment.
- Communicate with other staff around meal progression, guest needs and potential issues.
- Be a team player, problem solve and jump-in and help where it’s needed.
- Follow established guidelines for set up and breakdown of meal service.
- Ensure cleanliness of dining and public areas.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for all guests and other staff by following sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
