- Examining documents for missing information.
- Assigning CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM and ASA codes.
- Ensuring documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors.
- Obtaining authorizations for procedures, medications, and referrals.
- Infusion and specialty medications authorizations.
- Filling out FMLA and disability forms for review by the doctor.
- Work side by side with authorization team.
