We’re looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our team!
The Warehouse Lead … assists the site supervisor/manager with all aspects of seamless warehouse workflow and output. S/he directs team members in their daily duties – overseeing accurate pick process, loading of customer orders in preparation for shipping, and placement on trucks. The Lead also will participate in picking, receiving, replenishment, put-away and order loading as necessary to ensure we meet our deadlines. The Lead also performs individual and work team training/coaching/feedback, promotes safety, and completes other special projects as assigned.

- Monitor daily workflow, be a go-to resource for work team members and a consistent presence on the floor. Address and correct behaviors that may be impacting individual/team ability to meet daily goals.
- Ensure that all work team members arrive on time, take scheduled breaks and lunch, and complete daily work assignments as directed, including damaged product pick-up, aisle cleaning.
- Perform picking, receiving, replenishment, put-aways and order loading to meet daily goals.
- Assist with work team training, coaching and mentoring so all employees can meet or exceed accuracy and productivity expectations.
- Download, print, invoice and manage all daily orders in the warehouse systems.
- Manage and maintain scanner/equipment check-out process, daily hours’ log and system reboot.
- Timely and consistently communicate any concerns or issues that arise to shift supervisor or other members of Operations management for resolution.
- Review and promptly respond to customer service e-mails as directed by shift supervisor or other members of Operations management.
- Meet or exceed all company safety and performance expectations; follow all handbook and operations policies and procedures.

Do you have the following qualifications?
- Ability to lead a team in completing daily workload as instructed in a high volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to read packs, order labels, other information and match visible items and other data.
- Ability to perform computer lookup/inquiries to determine product location and/or description
- Knowledge and practice of safe lifting techniques
- Attention to detail, good decision-making skills
- Positive attitude, team focus – successful working both independently and cooperatively with others
- Ability and willingness to work with purpose and a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong computer skills i.e. Word, Excel and AS400 program
- Ability to operate a double fork rider, a stand-up forklift, and a narrow aisle reach truck
- Ability to keep a timely schedule and multi-task
- Ability to work long hours when required due to extraordinary issues
- Knowledge of loader skills, training will be provided
Your education & experience should be similar to:
- HS diploma or GED desired
- One-year work experience in an ASC warehouse or 3 years warehousing/distribution with another organization
- Prior work team Lead experience preferred
- Certified forklift operator
The required physical abilities to perform this job:
- Warehouse environment with variable temperatures/outdoor weather conditions
- Exposure to noise and vibrations from forklifts/other equipment
- Will work near moving mechanical parts, such as lifts
- Walking and standing for most of the shift
- Some stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting
- Reaching and carrying with hands and arms
- Lifting and carrying 60 pounds most of the shift, occasionally heavier
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate warehouse tools and equipment
- Able to hear and speak into telephone
- Close visual work on computer terminal
