Job Title: FSP Program Manager
Department: Full-Service Partnership Program
Reports to: Director of Mental Health Services
Job Summary:
The Alcott Center for Mental Health is seeking an organized, motivated and professional candidate for a full-time position as the Program Manager for an outpatient FSP Program. The population served includes adults with a full spectrum of DSM diagnoses. The individual will provide staff management, crisis intervention, training and clinical supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides day-to-day staff management under the direction of the Director of Mental Health
- Oversees daily functioning of agency’s forensic FSP program by ensuring that staff covers assigned client visits each day
- Ensures that clinical emergencies are brought to the immediate attention of the Director of Mental Health to be addressed
- Trains and supervises Case Management staff about CM resources, responsibilities, and proper contract documentation
- Supports Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring that all staff complete DMH documentation requirements in a timely and accurate manner; assists with ongoing chart reviews to ensure that charts are in appropriate working order; assists QA Manager, Director of Mental Health and COO during audits
- Conducts weekly FSP staff meetings, daily staff check-in, and bi-monthly county DMH meetings
- Provides crisis intervention services as needed
- Documents all provided services following contract guidelines
- Ensures coordination of services between staff and all intra-agency programs
- Assists the Human Resources Manager and the Director of Mental Health in hiring, evaluating, disciplinary action, and when necessary, recommends termination of program employees
- Ensures monthly billing requirements meet contract and agency demands
- Represents agency at community meetings as directed by Director of Mental Health
- Other duties may be designated as needed by the Director of Mental Health
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises program staff including Case Managers, Mental Health Rehab Specialists and Clinical Case Managers

Education and/or Experience:
- Master's degree in mental health field;
- BBS registered or licensed(MFT, LCSW, LPCC)
- two years clinical and supervisory experience preferred
Preference given for previous experience with LACDMH or one of its contract agencies; Comprehensive understanding of DMH Rehab Option guidelines and expertise in completing Intake through Discharge documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word and Excel processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid California Driver's License
- Valid Automobile Liability Insurance
- LPS designated within 6 months of hire
- BBS registered or licensed
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and their families; familiarity with psychosocial rehabilitation model; community outreach and crisis intervention.
- Ability to provide leadership and team building skills to multidisciplinary staff that provide CM, MH, and crisis services through outpatient FSP program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
