Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, friendly and efficient Dental Front Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering a positive patient experience. We are a small practice and prioritize exceptional patient care that’s tailored to each individual who we treat as our family members. Therefore this person must be good-natured, personable and have good communication skills. To accommodate our office hours, we are looking for someone reliable who can work 6:30am – 3:30pm Mondays through Thursdays and 7am – 4:30pm on Wednesdays.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and messages.
- Verify patient insurance information and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Collect payments and manage accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to optimize patient flow.
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Help with the office’s social media
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proficiency in Open Dental software.
- Must have good communication skills, be friendly, and personable.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting for at least 2 years preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to patient care.
