Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis
Caliber Car Wash is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing team. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role, working closely with senior management to increase a company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of and tracking against the short, medium and long-term financial plan.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled financial professional to contribute to the growth and success of Caliber Car Wash.
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is a key contributor to the overall success of the accounting and finance team.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

Lead the annual budgeting process by coordinating with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identifying variances and providing insights to management.

Forecasting and Analysis:

Prepare regular forecasts based on current performance trends, market conditions, and other relevant factors.

Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

Provide insights into key financial metrics, such as revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow, to support strategic decision-making.

Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.

Develop dashboards and other tools to streamline reporting processes and improve data visualization for decision-makers.

Strategic Planning Support:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, and market expansion efforts.

Conduct financial due diligence and analysis to assess the financial impact of potential business opportunities.

Continuously review and enhance financial planning and analysis processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.

Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to streamline workflows and enhance data integrity.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial planning software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate across functional areas.

High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in the car wash industry.

Experience with NetSuite.

Experience with automation tools.

MBA.
Physical Requirements:

The position requires occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items or materials of moderate weight up to 30 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Typical office environment, with occasional requirements for overtime during peak periods (e.g., budget season, month-end close); once adept in role, potential WFH on Fridays
