We are in need of an experienced, on-site, full-time experienced Staff Accountant to add to our cutting-edge, comprehensive team. You will be working on all aspects of accounting but primarily in Quickbooks, creation of monthly financial statements, and tying out the Balance Sheet while entering data/downloading payroll for our dental clients. This position is meant to identify an individual looking to make a rewarding, long-term career as a highly regarded/respected niche for dentists nationwide. Staff Accountant Traits
- Understands key concepts of accounting and how to reconcile accounts
- Familiarity with month-end closing processes, especially tying out the Balance Sheet
- Experience downloading transactions from various online accounts
- Ability to work with outside vendors on payroll and retirement plan reconciliation
- Proficient in Quickbooks
- Self starter who does not need to be micro-managed/ability to work independently
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Task and deadline driven
- Ability to prioritize and/or seek assistance in determining task priority
- Team player willing to take initiative and help when needed
- Comfortable working in a primarily paperless environment
- Excellent time management skills needed
Duties and Responsibilities include
- Handling bank reconciliation, posting journal entries, tying out a Balance Sheet
- Track basis and fixed assets monthly
- Assist in financial statement preparation
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
- Aid in the preparation of business tax returns with aid of a more senior supervisor, primarily 1120S
- Assist in the proprietary quarterly personal tax estimates
- Track work papers to foster efficient work flow
- Organization of client files for accounting team
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting preferred
- 2+ yrs experience preferred, ideally with small business or accounting firm
- Experience in using Quickbooks (Desktop or Online)
- Comfort level with monthly closing process and bank reconciliation
- Dental experience a plus
- Mac experience preferred
- Multitasking ability necessary
- Professional appearance a must
- Must have a desire to work in a youthful, fast-paced work environment and unique corporate culture
- Quickbooks Proadvisor/CPA attainment desire a plus

Four Quadrants Tax Advisory is the accounting arm of Four Quadrants Advisory Companies and specializes in proprietary, practical monthly financials, tax estimates/planning and year end tax filings. Providing full service accounting services to our clients. Monthly financials allows us to identify practice trends quickly and while working in concert with the planning team, we can provide real time, meaningful proactive advice to our clients.
