Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and accomplished sales professional to join our dynamic BHN Mid-Market sales team. As a vital member of our organization, you will directly report to the Client Development Sales Manager, assuming a comprehensive account management role. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage and expand our existing customer base. This entails fostering relationships with key decision-makers, identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities within your assigned accounts, and leveraging these connections to execute successful sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic Quarterly Business Reviews with our customers, building robust, enduring relationships, while identifying avenues for expansion.

Proactively identify potential retention risks among customers and proffer appropriate solutions to resolve them.

Collaborate with various internal and external departments to identify lucrative expansion opportunities.

Collect and analyze customer data to discern consumer trends and evolving needs.

Earn customer trust by comprehending their requirements, providing thoughtful responses to inquiries, exhibiting comprehensive product knowledge, and recommending optimal practices.

Implement and adhere to structured account management processes and industry best practices.

Deliver compelling product demonstrations to address account-related needs and explore revenue expansion opportunities.

Develop and execute sales outreach strategies, including promoting and attending trade shows and industry events (some travel may be required).

Maintain an appropriate expansion sales pipeline, ensuring sufficient coverage to achieve annual targets.

Effectively communicate the business benefits and functionality of our B2B solutions across all customer use cases.

Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales leaders as necessary to devise, draft, and execute outbound communication plans, reviewing these plans with sales leaders before implementation.

Utilize CRM systems and SalesLoft to execute and accurately document all activities, as exceptional CRM hygiene is critical to succeed in this role.

Leverage CRM data and available sales technology stack to gain insights into account backgrounds and identify key contacts for personalized communications and successful outreach strategies.

Demonstrate in-depth product expertise, keeping up to date with product enhancements and comprehending how our solutions cater to various industry use cases.

Provide accurate forecasts and retention risk assessments to sales leadership.

Participate in weekly meetings with sales leadership to strategize and advance opportunities throughout the sales cycle.

Collaborate with the Business Development Team to facilitate the smooth transfer of account ownership, ensuring an optimal customer experience.

Exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through consistent performance.

Expertly utilize sales-oriented technologies such as Gong, SalesLoft, and Salesforce.

Foster knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices with peers.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 2+ years of prior account management experience in a full sales cycle, with a proven track record of retaining and growing B2B SaaS accounts.

Experience in Payments, Incentives, Loyalty, or any Financial Technology business is advantageous.

Proficiency in a retention and expansion sales model is required.

Proficient in the use of Salesforce.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders.

Thoughtful and thorough, demonstrating a genuine desire to understand and address customer pain points.

A college degree is preferred.
Benefits:
Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $89,980.00 to $117,000.00
Salary Range for California Residents Only: $112,290.00 to $146,000.00
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays in the year 2023, 1 hour of sick pay accrual for every 30 hours worked, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
