PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The Project Manager, PET/CT is responsible for leading projects for diagnostic imaging medical devices including equipment refurbishment, customer site planning, equipment installations, and equipment relocations while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and scope. Throughout the course of projects, the Project Manager, PET/CT assigns responsibilities, monitors progress, leads internal and external project communications, and ensures all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the planning and execution of PET/CT, PET, and CT equipment projects, including refurbishment, installations, de-installations, and relocations.

Determine resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Adhere to Quality Management Procedures (QMP) and Work Instructions (WI) as set by the Quality Management System (QMS)

Monitor progress and adjust as needed

Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a semi-quiet office setting or a noisy warehouse setting. The position involves computer and phone work.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
-
Previous experience as a PET/CT Technologist, Applications Specialist, or Field Service Engineer.
- 3-5 years of project management and related experience

Degree in computer science, business, or a related field preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Proven ability to solve problems creatively

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

Excellent analytical skills

Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
