Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches and other food items according to customer orders
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food preparation stations and storage areas
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food quality
- Operate POS system to process customer orders and payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and addressing any questions or concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining dining area cleanliness
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
