About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Property Manager to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in managing our apartment community, ensuring its financial success, and creating exceptional resident experiences. Essential Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Training: Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for the property management team, ensuring all leasing tasks are performed according to company guidelines and all associates are adequately trained and equipped to excel in their roles.
- Financial Management: Manage the community's finances to achieve optimal expense and income levels based on established monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeted goals. This includes developing and implementing strategies for cost control and revenue maximization.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with residents, vendors, and team members to address concerns, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships.
- Maintenance and Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of maintenance and operations, including scheduling and coordinating contractors and vendors, ensuring timely completion of unit turnovers and repairs, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
- Leasing and Occupancy: Oversee the leasing process, ensuring all applications and paperwork are complete and accurate, exceeding company policies and guidelines to maintain optimal occupancy rates.
- Fair Housing and Diversity Compliance: Demonstrate a deep understanding and unwavering commitment to Fair Housing principles, equal employment opportunity, and diversity and inclusion practices in all aspects of work.
- Team Development and Compliance: Ensure all staff receive comprehensive training on federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws and regulations, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct within the team.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in conventional multifamily residential property management with 2-3 years of experience as a Property Manager in conventional multifamily settings.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, real estate, communications, hospitality) preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Yardi/CRM/RentCafé experience a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong understanding and experience with property management software
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining elevated levels of accuracy and productivity.
- Superb customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive and professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to effectively interpret and apply legal and operational documents, including leases, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Compliance:
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Commitment to maintaining a record that satisfies all applicable compliance requirements.

Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to view computer screens, cell phones, and other electronic equipment for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: $63K- $75K annually based on experience + bonus opportunities.
