Job Description
SCOPE OF POSITION
This position is part of the STRONG Families Northeast Tennessee program, an innovative, grant-funded initiative to help low-income families in Northeast Tennessee build capacity and reduce dependence on public assistance. The Office Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative and organizational functions, supporting program leadership, providing logistical support for meetings and events, assisting with communications, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the program and services.
Duties include the following:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to program leadership, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Assist in the planning and execution of organizational meetings, programs, events, and initiatives.
- Coordinate with program leadership and staff to ensure the timely, effective delivery of services and support.
- Monitor program timelines and deliverables, providing updates to responsible parties.
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff, partners, and the public, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in developing and disseminating program materials, such as newsletters, reports, promotional content, and policy manuals.
- Support recruitment processes, including communicating with applicants, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new staff.
- Oversee the physical needs of the office, including coordination with the facility manager, supply management, equipment maintenance, and workspace organization.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for staff, program participants, and visitors.
- Maintain employee records and assist with payroll and PTO processing.
- Support staff training and development initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Experience in data entry is required. Previous medical experience preferred.
