New River Community Action Head Start is seeking teaching staff to join our mission. As a teaching team member, you will maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment for children, implementing curriculum, assessments, and lesson planning. Lead Teacher – Believe in children and the strengths of families. Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, evidence-based curriculum and completes assessments. Partner with parents through both home visits and conferences to meet goals for school success.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate degree in Early Childhood or a related field and 2 years’ experience working with children. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Requirements:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, during the academic year (August-May). Eligible to apply for unemployment during summer break. Starting pay is a minimum of $20.23 per hour, possibly more depending on qualifications, plus full benefits. Additional compensation for being bilingual (Spanish/English).
