This position will report directly to the Operations Manager and oversee all day-to-day aspects regarding quality and safety.

Responsibilities
Manage, develop, and document Quality Assurance and Sanitation Policies and Procedures in accordance with FDA Title 21, HACCP, and ISO guidelines.
Develop & implement site specific programs for (GMP's), (SQF’s), (SSOP's) & allergen control.
Perform 3rd party audit preparation and supplier audits as necessary.
Work with management, sales and customers as needed to understand and reduce product returns and complaints and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Oversees and audits all plant quality and safety training activities, including monthly department and business unit quality and safety audits.
Providing hands-on coordination and support for nonconforming product (NCR) investigations, failure investigations (FIR), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) from initiation to completion to ensure systematic issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Sound knowledge of FDA quality system regulations and ISO standards regarding flexible packaging manufacturing. Ability to build effective relationships and work as part of a team.
Ability to multitask, be detail oriented and to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to create and format templates, reports, and technical documents.
Leads cross-functional project teams and/or sub-teams that develop and implement new QA programs and procedure improvements.
Recommends and oversees content updates to department or company resource manuals, standards manuals, training programs, and operational excellence tools.
Ability to apply sound technical and business principles and practices to project and change management processes.
Strong data management and MIS production skills to support all aspects of maintenance and improvement of the reporting processes by leveraging various Microsoft tools.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
