QUALIFICATIONS
· 5 (five) years minimum experience with dump truck and pup
· Transfer, tubs, and conveyored aggregate delivery truck experience is preferred but not required
· Current and valid Commercial Driver's License Class “A” (CDL), with tanker endorsement and no restrictions
· Must submit current 5-year MVR for review and adhere to all FMCSA requirements
· Ability to interact professionally with office staff as well as field employees, customers and coworkers
· Be a safety-minded professional who demonstrates good attendance and punctuality
· Must pass pre-employment screening and controlled substance testing
· Demonstrate ability to adhere to OSHA, MSHA, DOT, State of Oregon, Federal and company guidelines, rules and regulations
· Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date
· Must have working knowledge of the Lane County Area
· Must be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays as required and requested
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
· Delivery of rock and aggregate products to customers and various job sites as directed
· Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
· Perform safety inspections
· Have good communication skills, think ahead and work efficiently
· Must be able to follow direction, working both independently and in a team environment
· Maintain vehicle in a clean and orderly condition
· Monitor gages during operation of vehicle and report issues
· Perform safety inspections and write ups, including promptly detecting and reporting improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions
· Use relevant knowledge to complete work independently and or with team
· Conduct self in a way that represents the company in a safe and professional manner
· Perform other duties as determined by project or company need
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Must be able to lift, push and pull up to #50lbs without assistance
· Must be able to bend, and stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grip, climb, etc.
· Position will be exposed to various weather conditions, rain, sleet, snow, wind heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
· Frequently, required to sit for long periods of time
· Jobs sometimes require an outside work environment with close proximity to highway traffic, heavy construction equipment and hazardous construction, which may include high spaces.
