ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction and service is provided for all activities within the branch; resolving customer complaints and disputes in a proactive and positive manner, and in accordance with J&L policies and procedures.

Direct, schedule, and evaluate branch employees in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

Manage the activities of all branch employees in coordination with the Assistant Branch Manager and Warehouse Manager, ensuring operational efficiency, staff performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Mentor and develop talent to foster a high-performing and motivated team.

Create and maintain a high-functioning team environment, promote collaboration, and drive excellence in all aspects of branch operations.

Ensure the use of all established procedures for order entry to maintain the accuracy of the pricing and product identification for all orders at the branch.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at the branch level.

Conduct monthly branch meetings, or meetings on an as needed basis.

Review the monthly operating expense analysis in collaboration with the Assistant Branch Manager.

Ensure fleet integrity by overseeing compliance of preventative maintenance schedules and general cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles.

Coordinate the annual physical inventory event, as well as regular cycle counts, and resolve any variances in a timely manner.

Secure and protect company assets by ensuring that they are properly counted for, stored, rotated, and maintained.

Enforce all corporate operating policies, procedures, and employee regulations.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; Six months to one-year related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working knowledge of company products and services (roofing, siding, decking, doors, windows, etc.)

Proficiency in using MS Office, Traverse, and other company-specific software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1-2 years management experience in a similar role.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
