Position Impact:
The Senior Brand Manager has a critical role in shaping and executing our brand strategy with P & L responsibility. This role will oversee leadership of the marketing function including marketing strategies, annual plans, consumer insights driven innovation, brand communications, go-to-market activation and brand equity.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for managing primarily the Amazon channel (including all eCommerce), developing and implementing marketing strategies and driving revenue growth.
- Own and manage the channel inclusive of annual forecasts, product pipeline and delivering monthly revenue and profit goals.
- Develop and implement promotional calendars, measuring ROI to ensure successful execution.
- Assist in building the annual brand plans by supporting with data, insights, and reporting to help understand business performance and formulate actions or improvement.
- Develop omnichannel strategic plan identifying the road map to success.
- Craft channel strategy with compelling key feature benefit claims and collaborate with marketing to build winning assortment.
- Lead the creation and accuracy of copy and ensure messaging and assets meet brand guideline approvals.
- Collaborate with internal and external sales, marketing and product teams to align on account strategies, on-site merchandising, and go-to-market plans.
- Manage new product launch timeline, go-to-market plan initiatives and execution with internal teams and agency partners.
- Identify new products and innovation from idea to execution.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide market intelligence to internal and external teams.
- Help to plan, forecast, and achieve monthly and annual sales & profit targets and meet or exceed individual account and brand goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 – 10 plus years of brand management experience in eCommerce with a focus on Amazon channel management, vendor or seller central
- Experience partnering with paid organic marketing teams to deliver against channel goals
- Success leveraging analytics to identify business growth opportunities
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC and social media
- Experience in developing and implementing promotional calendars and measuring ROI
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong project management skills
- Self-starter capable of working individually and with a team
- Proficiency in Excel and related MS Office programs
- Willingness to travel to visit retailers or to company HQ as needed, less than 10%
