Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Food Services Director, the part-time Seasonal Kitchen Cook will oversee the timely preparation and quality service of meals to campers and staff in the program.

Requirements:
Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:

Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.

Reliable transportation to attend work.

A warm and friendly personality and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, children, and supervisors.

Desire to work in a camp setting and be able to accept guidance and supervision from the Food Service Director.

Enthusiasm, patience, positive attitude, and flexibility are key.

Breadth of knowledge about cooking and preparing meals.
