Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children in a preschool setting
- Create and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote literacy, physical education, and social-emotional development
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students based on their needs
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Proficiency in curriculum development and assessment techniques
- Ability to provide individualized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of students
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques to support students' academic growth
