Upbeat, fun, Dermatology practice looking to add to our team of Medical Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a practice that values excellent patient care, as well as our employees. We are a continually growing practice, with fun Providers and staff that make a busy day go by quickly! This is a Full time position. No nights or weekends!
We trust our Medical Assistants with a high level of responsibility and offer the opportunity to be directly involved in the care of our patients. Our MA’s care for one patient at a time, rooming, charting, assisting, scribing, educating, instructing and providing resources. They work side by side with our Providers and are a vital and valued part of each patient’s visit. Our MA’s also are responsible for opening and closing the back office, autoclaving tools, processing Rx refills, Prior Authorizations and returning patient's phone calls. Our MA’s also have the opportunity to be given additional responsibilities such as assisting with surgical excisions, assisting in cosmetic procedures and independently managing the light treatment schedule.

Job requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Able to be flexible with scheduling and committed to our clinic.
- Individual days vary, but the hours each day fall between 7am — 6pm, Monday — Friday. You may be expected to stay later than 6pm on occasional days.
- Experience in Dermatology preferred, however not required.
- Only Medical Assistants with at least 2 years’ experience, or an applicant with experience as a scribe as well as a Bachelor’s degree in the sciences will be considered for this position.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills, be professional, polished, articulate and graceful under pressure. We expect our staff to enhance our practice reputation by accepting ownership for their role in the practice and to explore opportunities to add value to their job accomplishments.
