Pay Based on Experience starting at $28+/hr
(+ $1.50 shift differential pay for 2nd shift)
Diesel Maintenance Technician (B):
- 2nd shift: Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 10:30pm ( Malone Rd.)
- 2nd shift: Tues - Sat, 2:00pm - 10:30pm ( Southpoint Dr.)
- The Diesel Maintenance Tech (B) is responsible for repairing and maintaining all medium to heavy duty customer vehicles and equipment (class 8 semis, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) which includes routinely performing preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure efficient vehicle operations. The B Tech will perform job duties independently with little to no supervision and must be equipped with personal toolbox. B Techs will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring Diesel Maintenance Tech (C) employees as needed.
- Diesel Trailer Repair Technician:
- 2nd shift: Mon-Fri, 2:00pm-10:30pm (Malone Rd.)
- Full knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body and mechanic parts of a trailer. Strong electrical experience with the ability to diagnose and repair all electrical systems, up to and including emissions. Must possess basic computer entry (PC) skills.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of medium to heavy duty diesel truck engines, possess diagnostic /troubleshooting skills, an understanding of how internal combustion gas and diesel engines work, as well as able to identify main components. Must possess computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite and other internal systems), strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Clean driving record
