30-day Performance Objectives
- Connect with leaders to gather a high-level view of processes, vision, mission, core values, gain a total understanding of how & why we operate, and identify major priorities and hiring needs to initiate the recruitment of key roles.
60-day Performance Objectives
- Troubleshoot and manage daily service activities related to labor and material costs, become the client’s first point of contact, and mitigate conflict and resolve people issues.
90-day Performance Objectives
- Build and establish relationships while fostering a cohesive culture within the existing team and make enhancements to current processes and standards to reduce wasted labor.
Detailed Expectations
As a service manager, the on-call responsibilities include being available on weekends approximately once every 8 weeks. This involves addressing medium mild weather-related issues, receiving 1-2 calls. It is necessary to be at home and accessible from 5 pm to 6 am. You will regularly monitor emails and be available for chat communication. The service is advertised as open 24/7, with a 15-minute lead time for responding to calls. Additionally, one night per week is designated for on-call duty.
- Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with general contractors, builders and homeowners. Perform project assessments via field visits and/or blueprints and ensure that all jobs are bid to ensure net profitability.
- Oversee entire Installation division, including: procurement, staging, scheduling, forecasting, targeted completion dates, and budgets. Hire personnel for the Installation division and manage client communications.
- Ensure accurate, dependable and consistent records keeping and schedule jobs by priority, logistics, skill level, and availability. Debrief installers, track all expenses and produce P&L reports for each project.
- Swiftly and professionally resolve client or technicians’ concerns and escalate as needed. Expertly perform full capacity installations with confidence, professionalism, and accuracy.
