Blue Sea Educational Consulting is an interprofessional collaborative that brings together diverse professions such as education, psychology, social work, behavior intervention, speech, occupational and physical therapies, and the law. Our unique approach to education has enabled us to be successful in providing supportive services to a variety of student populations.
Our Staffing Specialists are responsible for identifying and placing appropriately experienced and credentialed professionals and educators who provide special education services as requested by client school districts. Our openings are for administrative specialists who will work to staffing cases for Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Learning Professionals in the Special Education field!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Continuous rapport building with 1099-contracted providers to ensure mutually beneficial support and a high standard of performance.
- Matches providers to cases with appropriate skill level and geographic specifications.
- Access case availability opportunities with potential, active, and inactive providers
- Engage with providers as a resource to support them to successful case compliance.
- Hold providers accountable for timely report submission and Department of Education mandate fulfillment
- Communicate confidently by phone and email with providers and candidates.
- Collaborate with HR Recruiting and Onboarding in order to potentiate top, potential candidates to join the team.
- Take initiative to enhance Blue Sea processes and maintain an efficient work culture.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Special Education Services in Long Island Schools is required
- Experience in collaborating with OT, PT, or Speech Language services is helpful
- Associated degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong Stakeholder Management and communication
- Administrative experience
- Self initiating organizational, time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Intuitive and curious to learn and ask questions and give input when needed
- Energetic, confident, and positive attitude
- Computer literate; Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Google Chrome. Ability to quickly learn new programs.

- Starting Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour , based on applicable experience
