The Stella Orton Home Care Agency is seeking a full-time HHA Coordinator.
The HHA Coordinator (Personnel Specialist) is responsible for the maintenance of ongoing communication with referral and intake sources for all patients. S/he shall plan for home health care service coverage. This role is responsible for the scheduling of home care workers while striving to ensure that patient/family are satisfied and receiving excellent customer service. Bi-lingual English/Spanish, English/ Russian
Hours 8:00am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities and Duties: (but not limited to)
- Primary duty is to schedule caregivers with clients, ensuring compatibility and customer satisfaction on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Provide first line of communication for in-field employees to make changes to schedules, and informational updates.
- Monitor, mediate, and log both client and employee activity and follow up on employee assignments and client service.
- Maintain accurate client/employee documentation regularly.
- On-Call after 90day introductory period
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma
- One year experience of office work in a health care setting.
- HHA Exchange experience preferred.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate schedules, notes, and records.
- Computer literate.
- Good interpersonal skills.
