Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to individuals dealing with various mental health issues, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques.
Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
- Offer counseling on a wide range of issues including but not limited to gender issues, Christian counseling, and behavioral health
- Utilize therapeutic approaches such as motivational interviewing and psychopharmacology when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Therapist
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and providing patient care
- Strong understanding of various therapy modalities and techniques
- Ability to address gender-specific issues in counseling sessions
- Knowledge of Christian counseling principles is a plus
