We're looking for an experienced Line Cook to prepare food in a restaurant that serves a wide variety of delicious food items. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a range of different cuisines and be willing to learn about different food preparation techniques. A successful candidate will have an attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a culinary team in a busy restaurant environment, and must possess a desire to learn and grow as part of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food service items in accordance with the standards of the restaurant and menu.
- Serve food to customers according to their orders.
- Ensure food quality meet restaurant standards and customer satisfaction is attained.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace and kitchen area.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely fashion.
- Receive, read, and properly store food orders.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination of products.
- Listening to and following directions from management and kitchen staff.
- Cross trained as a cashier and server.
