Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Audio/Video and Automation Technician to spearhead our technical team. This role involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced A/V and automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance in client settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the installation and programming of high-end audio/video and automation systems.
Design and implement custom solutions tailored to client needs and specifications.
Conduct system diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in A/V and automation technology.
Provide exceptional customer service, including client education on system functionalities.
Ensure all installations and services adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in A/V and automation system installation and programming.
Extensive knowledge of home automation platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant, etc.).
Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of audio and video signal flow and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Flexibility to work various hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
