Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Spa Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and families. Your exceptional administrative skills, attention to detail, and understanding of medical records will be essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Duties:
- Greet patients, family members, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage patient flow, coordinate appointments, and schedule surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient demographics, medical histories, and treatment plans.
- Operate a variety of administrative tasks, such as answering and directing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and performing data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all aspects of patient care.
- Provide support to medical staff and other departments as needed.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems.
- Manage dental records and provide administrative support to dental offices.
- Utilize phone systems to manage patient communication and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical records and HIPAA regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including data entry and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Experience with phone systems and customer service is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
