Looking for a nurse with expert IV skills who is willing to learn a whole new side to IV nursing in a fast paced environment. Must be able to watch, learn and perform independently many new skills. Please bring your compassion, caring, good attitude, team player, critical thinking skills and willingness to learn and you will be successful!
- Peripheral IV skills are required. Must have willingness to learn, understand and demonstrate clean and sterile procedures. Safety first when administering IV Nutrition of many modalities that require monitoring. You must be able to juggle making IVs, drawing blood, monitoring patients.
-Critical thinking skills, independent thinking, collaborative work with ordering provider of services.
-Exceptional customer service and communication skills with co-workers and patients is a must.
-Recognize that IV nutrition, ozone therapy, chelation and other services covered by this position (Hocatt ozone sauna and PEMF) require additional training that you have never received before. There will be one-on-one training, hands-on learning plus IV nutrition certification provided once you have completed 90 day probation period. Additional education opportunities available for the person who wants to grow.
-Perform various nursing duties and procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, start peripheral IVs, perform other duties as necessary.
- Ensure infection control measures are followed to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients without toxic chemicals.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, Cerbo, for documentation and record keeping.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
Experience:
- Must have a valid nursing license and be in good standing with the state board of nursing.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
