Responsibilities:
-Ability to work in residential homes on retrofit/upfit projects
-Ability to troubleshoot/service calls
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as framers and carpenters, to complete projects
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide solutions quickly
- Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or code violations
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
-Ability to complete a residential/commercial project from start to finish with little supervision
-Strong skills in residential wiring in finished homes
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
