Job Summary:
Join our team as a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse - ICU to contribute to our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Duties:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients within the ICU setting.
- Administer medications, treatments, and conduct venipuncture following established protocols.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute individualized care plans.
- Assist in trauma medicine procedures and acute care interventions.
- Participate in discharge planning and health coaching for patients and their families.
- Utilize expertise in patient care, esthetic laser treatment, ophthalmology, and urgent care.
- Ensure adherence to workers' compensation laws and infection control protocols.
Skills:
- Valid RN license with a background in ICU nursing.
- Experience in an ICU or critical care setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in acute care procedures, including lift assistance when necessary.
- Strong communication skills for patient education and family support.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes and health coaching principles.
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center standards is beneficial.
